Nico Schliemann lives near Stuttgart/Germany, has been playing the guitar for 23 years and already studied guitar at the Jazz & Rock School Freiburg when he was 16.

2011 he won 2nd price (best newcomer) in the international guitar contest „Guitar Idol III“ in London. Since the beginning of 2013 his main live work is with the german electro pop act Glasperlenspiel with whom he also toured all the big arenas around Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria and Denmark as a support for german artist Helene Fischer for her 2015 tour.

Besides that he plays a lot of sessions with bands like the NightLive Band, as a guest for The Wright Thing, Westbunch or Wolf Coderas Session Possible. He played with artists like Gregor Meyle, Ell Erl (DSDS), Percival Duke (The Voice of Germany), Rolf Stahlhofen (Söhne Mannheims), Stefan Stoppok, The Wheather Girls and many more.
